As a photographer and drone pilot it has always been a dream of mine to visit Iceland and capture the breathtaking landscape from above. Back from Iceland I have to say this country offers it all, from green and mossy lava fields, black sand beaches, glaciers, and active volcanos.
In this video you will see all those different and diverse landscapes including some of the famous spots, such as the new active volcano Geldingadalur only 50 min. driving from Reykjavik or Fjaðrárgljúfur aka Bieber Canyon. It truly looks like another planet and has been featured in many movies, such as Game of Thrones and James Bond.
Due to regulations, it is not possible to fly drones at the common spots such as Dettifoss or Goðafoss, however there is still enough to see and capture.
